Dissatisfied with the limited options available for swimwear, Lisa Eichler embarked on a journey to provide women with a more comfortable, stylish, and modest alternative. Guided by her extensive knowledge of pattern making and garment construction, she curated garments that flattered various body shapes and sizes, meeting religious standards and medical needs, all while exuding confidence and style.

 

Lisa is the founder of MODSWIM, a trailblazing brand, born from her profound passion for fashion from a tender age. Growing up amidst the captivating world of textiles, she spent countless hours in her father's textile industry, playing hide and seek with siblings among vast rolls of fabrics. While other kids collected toys and trinkets, she amassed fabric swatches, notions, and buttons, fostering a love for design that would shape her destiny.

Her journey took her through the halls of fashion design labels, and led her to create her first line of children's sportswear, Manamana. These captivating samples soon graced the racks of renowned establishments like Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstroms, and boutiques across the globe.

As she welcomed her children into the world, her priority shifted towards motherhood and she fully embraced it with all her heart. However, her desire for purposeful creativity remained unquenched. One day in 2012, while swimming in her community pool, she observed a mother and daughter clad in nightgowns. The light bulb moment arrived - "Why not create nightgowns out of bathing suit fabric?!" This revelation marked the genesis of MODSWIM.

Since its inception, MODSWIM has thrived as the original pioneer of modest swimwear.
